AutoSimulatedMouse does not sell personal data. This policy explains what the Chrome extension stores locally, what is sent only when you use payment, license activation, or purchase-restoration features, how we use service providers, and how to contact us about your data.
Data controller
The data controller for AutoSimulatedMouse is Huanyu RE, an independent software developer. We have not appointed a dedicated Data Protection Officer because the product does not involve large-scale sensitive-data processing. For privacy questions or requests, contact huanyure@163.com.
Local extension data
The extension stores the following data in chrome.storage.local on your device:
- MousePot positions and action settings that you create.
- Language preference, visual settings, run settings, and trial-use counters.
- A random installation ID, cached Free or Pro status, and optional purchase-binding status.
- A receipt email only when you provide one for a purchase receipt.
MousePot positions, webpage content, passwords, cookies, and browsing history are not uploaded by the extension.
Information you provide
When you contact support or complete a purchase, we may process information you provide directly, such as your email address, support messages, order ID, payment status, payment amount, payment provider, license status, and related troubleshooting details.
We do not ask you to create an AutoSimulatedMouse account password, and we do not store full card numbers, PayPal credentials, Alipay credentials, or other payment-provider passwords.
Automatically processed service data
Our Cloudflare-based license service may process technical request data needed to provide and secure the service, such as request time, error logs, payment callback status, installation ID, Chrome Google account identifier when you choose account binding, browser timezone offset used for receipts, and license activation records.
Payment and Pro activation
When you choose Upgrade, the extension asks you to confirm a receipt email before opening the payment provider's checkout page. The receipt email, installation ID, payment order ID, and activation status are processed by our license service to provide receipts, Pro activation, purchase restoration, and support.
Payment credentials are entered on the payment provider's website. AutoSimulatedMouse does not receive or store your payment card number, PayPal credentials, or payment-provider password.
Chrome account binding
If you choose to bind or restore a purchase, the extension may read the currently signed-in Chrome profile email and stable Google account identifier through Chrome's Identity API. This information is used only to link a Pro purchase to that Chrome account and restore the purchase on another device. The extension does not read email messages, contacts, or other Google account data.
How we use information
We use information only for the purposes needed to operate AutoSimulatedMouse:
- Providing and maintaining the extension and license service.
- Processing payments, payment callbacks, receipts, refunds, and Pro activation.
- Restoring Pro access when you bind a purchase to a Chrome Google account.
- Responding to support requests and troubleshooting payment or license issues.
- Preventing fraud, abuse, duplicate activation errors, and unauthorized license changes.
- Complying with payment, tax, accounting, legal, and platform obligations.
For users in regions where a legal basis is required, these uses are based on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and, where applicable, your consent.
Cookies and tracking
The Chrome extension does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, tracking pixels, or behavioral advertising. The public website is a static product website and does not intentionally set marketing cookies. Payment providers may use their own cookies and fraud-prevention technologies on their checkout pages under their own privacy policies.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information, including as "sale" may be defined under applicable privacy laws. We share information only when necessary for the following purposes:
- Payment providers such as PayPal, Alipay, or Waffo Pancake process checkout, payment confirmation, risk checks, refunds, and related payment records. Complete card data is handled by the payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
- Cloudflare hosts the license service and stores the minimum license data needed for activation, restore, and support.
- Resend may send receipt and binding emails from the configured sender address.
- Legal, regulatory, payment-dispute, tax, accounting, or platform-review requests may require disclosure of relevant records.
- We may share information with your consent or as part of a business transfer, where appropriate protections continue to apply.
Retention and security
Payment and license records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Pro activation, purchase restoration, receipts, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and applicable legal obligations. Transaction and receipt records may be retained for up to 7 years where needed for tax, accounting, payment dispute, or compliance purposes. Support emails may be retained for up to 3 years unless a longer period is required to resolve a dispute or legal obligation. Security and error logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
Local extension data remains on your device until you remove the extension or clear its extension storage. We use HTTPS/TLS for data transmission, limit access to service data, and keep payment credentials with the payment provider. If a security incident materially affects your rights, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
International transfers
AutoSimulatedMouse may use service providers located in different countries or regions, including cloud, payment, and email providers. When data is transferred internationally, we rely on the service provider's contractual and technical safeguards and transfer mechanisms required by applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, contact huanyure@163.com. We aim to respond within 30 calendar days unless applicable law allows or requires a different period.
You may also contact your local data protection authority if you believe your privacy rights have not been handled properly.
Marketing communications
AutoSimulatedMouse currently does not send marketing emails. Service emails, such as receipts, activation notices, support replies, security notices, and policy updates, may still be sent when needed to provide or manage the service.
Children
AutoSimulatedMouse is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or who use the extension with permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized organization representative. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Third-party links and services
The extension and website may link to payment providers, Chrome Web Store pages, documentation, or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this policy.
No analytics or remote code
The extension does not use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or remote executable code. All executable JavaScript and CSS are packaged with the extension. The license service returns JSON data only.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice through the website, extension, email, or another reasonable channel. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
